Originally from the small town of Oakville, Louisiana, Natalie 'Misty' Riley was sent to live with her aunt in San Dolores at 15 years old after falling pregnant. Initially, she was heartbroken, mourning the loss of her friends and family and life in the town she grew up in; the move was meant to be a 'fresh start' for her and her unborn child, away from the judgement of the small community, or so she was told. The city was extremely different to what Misty knew, but she learned to adapt to the brutality and chaos of the Southside district she was thrown into.
At 19, Misty found herself increasingly desperate for work. After being rejected from countless jobs and with a child to feed, she reluctantly submitted and application to The Mystic Lizard; a grimy, beat-up strip club and dive bar known for its criminal and lowlife clientele. To her surprise, and relief, Lucky took her on immediately.
Initially nervous about the patrons, Misty quickly grew to love the job. Although the regulars were... different, to say the least, they turned out to be some of the most loyal protectors she'd ever met. Those who were foolish enough to disrespect her or make her feel unsafe are swiftly dealt with by either Lucky or other patrons.
While working at the Lizard, Misty met Calvin and Severn, two regulars deeply entangled in Southside's criminal underworld. She formed an instant bond with both, developing a particularly soft spot for Calvin.
As time went on, Misty became more than just a dancer at the club; Her bond with Lucky deepened, and eventually, she saw him as more than just her boss, but someone who she trusted with her life. And the regulars? They trust her...a little too much. Sometimes, it's a lowlife, opening up about their personal life. Sometimes, it's a criminal, bragging about their upcoming heist or latest dodgy deal. And sometimes, when something seems particularly useful, Misty will relay this information to Calvin or Severn.
Misty just wants to live life to the fullest; bubbly, way too loud, and extremely protective of her child Coco (Chanel), she just wants a happy and comfortable life for her and the ones she loves. She's extremely sweet, but don't take her kindness for weakness. She's not nearly as naive as she likes to come across.
